American Women in Radio and Television
American Women in Radio and Television is a national non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of women in electronic media.
Founded over 50 years ago, by women, for women; American Women in Radio and Television continues to support, educate, and inspire women in the radio, television, print, Internet, public relations, promotion, publicity, and related electronic media fields.
To date, we have made many advances. In the face of ever-expanding technology, we continue to be enthusiastic about the growth of American Women in Radio and Television.
Our chapter is open to women (and men) from the entire New England area including great towns and cities from Boston to Providence, Manchester to Portland, Springfield to Burlington, and everywhere in between.
One of the ways to realize the mission of American Women in Radio and Television is by mentoring the next generation of female broadcasters. For Boston/New England AWRT, this mission is the foundation from which we build every event.

Our chapter is blessed with incredible women and men who are at work in every aspect of radio, television, print, internet communications, marketing and PR. Our mission is to provide networking and enrichment opportunities for our members and we have a special interest in mentoring the next generation.
